About

I believe the best designers don't fear new tools. They master them.

I'm an industrial designer based in Los Angeles with over a decade of professional experience bringing physical products into the world. At Mattel, I've been a core part of building the RC business from the ground up — designing four RC platforms that are still in production today, hundreds of die-cast vehicles, and contributing to countless innovation and creative discovery processes along the way. Die-cast vehicle manufacturing and DFM isn't just something I know — it's something I've done at scale.

Before any of that, I wanted to build motorcycles. After two serious accidents, I made peace with the idea that the more sustainable version of that obsession was paper, pen, and mass production. Bringing artifacts into the world has always been the point. The medium just changed.

Right now I'm focused on helping designers get better at the tools that matter — from the software fundamentals that make your day-to-day faster, to AI workflows that are starting to reshape what's possible in the concept and development phase. I have a specific point of view on AI: it's a tool, not a replacement. Designers who learn to use it will do in an afternoon what used to take a week. Designers who don't will eventually find themselves providing less value inside the organizations that employ them. That shift is coming. I'd rather help you get ahead of it.

That's what drives the YouTube channel, the blog, and this site. A space for designers who take their craft seriously and want to understand where it's going.
